Metrail is delighted to announce its membership in the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG).
As a leading infrastructure maintenance and repair business operating across the UK, Metrail Construction Ltd has a number of framework contracts with National Highways to provide road maintenance services across the country. Metrail acts as a general contractor for programmes around concrete road rehabilitation, bridge deck waterproofing and expansion joint replacement. As a associate member of the LCRIG, Metrail is looking forward to deepen its connections with local councils.
Metrail’s MD Martyn Sherwood comments:
“Innovation is a key driver for the business and we are keen to bring some of the innovative techniques we have developed onto the local roads network. LCRIG provides a great platform for Metrail to get to know and understand the challenges local authorities face in road maintenance and to identify areas where Metrail may be able to offer innovative solutions. We look forward to becoming an associate member of LCRIG and participating in the working groups and at the major events.”
